WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE COLLEGE OF COUNSELING?

The College of Counseling trains individuals to lead people in a one-on-one or small group setting.  The student will learn to counsel people to grasp who they are in Christ and to learn the kingdom perspective on healing, freedom from strongholds, and usher the student into their call and destiny. Students will learn techniques of how to use the Word of God to determine each person’s distinct personality, to meet them where they are.  The College of Counseling equips Kingdom-minded Counselors with the tools necessary to counsel people in a pastoral or business environment.

WHY THE COLLEGE OF COUNSELING?

College of Counseling is an intensive program set up to fast-track the student to practice counseling in a safe and controlled environment.  It is Biblical; it looks at every issue through the eyes of scripture.  It is personal; we meet in person which allows for students to have personal contact and accountability with their professors.  Offers flexibility in both a virtual and a personal experience.  This curriculum prepares counselors to counsel in a ministry or business setting, and provides opportunities to connect with others in the field as well as the Kingdom University community.  These divine alignments are invaluable.

WHY USE THE ARNO PROFILE SYSTEM (APS)?

The ARNO Profile system is based on Biblical research.  It gives the client a hands-on picture of how God has created them.  It also serves as a “starting point” to lead clients through steps to freedom and transition from the worldly to Biblical principles.

WHAT ABOUT THE PRACTICUM?

From month one, there will be assignments with people in their sphere of influence.

These contact hours will be based on what is being taught and assigned, along with APS assessments.  Students will submit monthly summaries of their experiences.  Students will write case studies for each APS client.
